Job Description:
At Amazon Web Services (AWS), we are at the forefront of cloud
technology, powering extensive digital transformations across
countless sectors. We seek a seasoned Regional DCEO Manager for our
Engineering Operations within Data Centers. This critical role is
focused on the management and implementation of operational
standards and reliability of AWS Data Centers across the region.
The ideal candidate will spearhead initiatives to enhance systems
reliability, scale operations, and drive innovative enhancements
within our complex data center environment. Working collaboratively
with internal teams and external vendors, this position aims to
elevate service uptime and customer satisfaction. Manage operations
and maintenance of multiple data centers across the region. Lead
and develop a diverse team of engineering professionals. Ensure
strict adherence to safety and data center operation standards.
Drive operational excellence and efficiency through process
improvement and innovative engineering solutions. Coordinate with
global teams to align standards and practices across AWS's
worldwide operations. Monitor key operational metrics and implement
strategies to improve data center reliability and performance.
Manage budget, procurement, and vendor contracts for engineering
operations. Strong leadership and team management skills. Expertise
in data center facilities management and operations. Proficiency in
automation tools and data center infrastructure management (DCIM)
systems. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP)
