Job Description We are seeking a Permanent Chief of
Gastroenterology in New Jersey. Permanent Physician - Chief of
Gastroenterology Position Type: Specialty: Physician -

Shift: Varied Start Date: To Be Determined End Date: N/A Position
Details: Patient Population: Adults (Atlantic, Ocean, and Cape May
Counties) Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient; Academic Division
Responsibilities: Develop and lead a new academic GI division
Recruit and mentor faculty and fellows Deliver clinical care in GI,
including inpatient and outpatient services Expand advanced
endoscopy and GI services Actively round and consult Collaborate
with Drexel University and the new medical school Engage in
strategic service line development and academic programming
Required Procedures: Endoscopy (additional GI procedures likely
based on scope of division) EMR System: Cerner Powerchart Support
Staff: Multidisciplinary faculty and administrative team (to be
recruited) Days Per Month: TBD On-Call/Weekends: Yes, both required
Submission Requirements: Board Certification in Gastroenterology -
Required Active or eligible New Jersey medical license - Required
BLS and ACLS - Required DEA and CSR/CDS certifications - Required
Documentation of malpractice history - Required COVID and Flu
