Gifted Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled CVICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our network for both travel and local assignments in Morristown, New Jersey. As a specialized CVICU RN, you will be responsible for providing care and support to patients within a cardiovascular intensive care unit. This position offers you the opportunity to work alongside leading medical professionals in high-stress environments, where your expertise in handling critical care situations will help improve patient outcomes and support recovering heart surgery patients. Assessing patient conditions and administering treatment accordingly. Monitoring heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels and other vital signs. Administering medications and operating heart support machines as necessary. Providing post-operative care and monitoring recovery. Collaborating with doctors and other healthcare professionals to devise effective treatment plans. Educating patients and their families on heart disease prevention and post-hospital care. Strong clinical skills in a cardiovascular environment. Ability to operate complex medical machinery. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Capable of working under pressure in critical care situations. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the state of New Jersey. Must have a current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certification.
