Description : The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for
providing and coordinating patient-centered nursing care. The RN
assesses patient needs, develops and implements care plans,
administers treatments, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary
healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality clinical outcomes. Key
Responsibilities Patient Care Assess patient conditions and develop
individualized care plans Administer medications, treatments, and
therapies as prescribed Monitor patient progress and respond to
changes in condition Provide patient and family education regarding
care and treatment Clinical & Leadership Duties Supervise and
support LPNs and nursing assistants as appropriate Perform
admissions, discharges, and transfers Ensure accurate, timely
documentation in medical records Participate in care conferences
and interdisciplinary team meetings Communication & Coordination
Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, families, and
healthcare team members Act as a patient advocate and ensure
continuity of care Provide clear shift reports and handoff
communication Safety, Quality & Compliance Maintain compliance with
state nursing regulations and facility policies Promote infection
control, patient safety, and quality improvement initiatives
Respond to emergencies and participate in emergency procedures Job
Requirements Education & Licensure Graduate of an accredited
Registered Nursing program (ADN or BSN) Current Registered Nurse
(RN) license in good standing CPR/BLS certification required ACLS
certification (preferred depending on unit/facility) Experience
Previous clinical nursing experience preferred (new graduates may
be considered) Experience in acute care, long-term care, or
specialty areas is a plus Skills & Competencies Strong assessment,
critical thinking, and clinical judgment skills Excellent
communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to multitask and
manage priorities effectively Proficiency with electronic medical
records (EMR) systems Leadership and team collaboration skills
Physical & Work Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift,
and assist patients as required Ability to work flexible schedules,
including nights, weekends, and holidays Preferred Qualifications
(Optional) Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Specialty
