Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Acute Care - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Emergency Room Nurse a for a 13-week contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Red Bank, NJ. Job Function: - Night Shift. - 3x12. - Responsible for managing the care of adult and/or pediatric patients experiencing life-threatening problems requiring complex assessment, high intensity therapies, and interventions. - Provide support, education and comfort to patients and their families during their emergency room experience. - Prepare patients for surgery or diagnostic testing. - Provide IV insertion, intubation, medicine administration, blood drawing, and many other medical procedures. - Job Requirements: - Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN). - Current state RN license or willingness to obtain. - 2 years of Medical-Surgical Rehabilitation or Telemetry Registered Nurse experience required. - BLS certification from the American Heart Association. - ACLS certification from the American Heart Association. - PALS certification from the American Heart Association. - TNCC certification preferred.
