Norwegian Christian Home, a prestigious Brooklyn Not-For-Profit Assisted Living Program seeks qualified Registered Nurse to serve as a Full Time Supervisor on our 11pm to 7am shift. Candidate must be reliable, as well as knowledgeable in all aspects of the provision of quality care. We offer an excellent benefit package. Submit a resume to find out more. Qualifications 1.NYS Licensed and currently registered as a Registered Professional Nurse 2.One year experience in provision of nursing care in an acute care facility or Assisted Living. 3. Ability to use Electronic Medical Record and place orders for residents electronically. 4. Ability to make assessments and call physicians with abnormal findings. 5. Ability to assess for change in condition and assist with sending resident to appropriate level of care. 6. Ability to perform fingerstick, give subcutaneous injections, and po medications as needed and timely. 7. Ability to do UAS assessments and/or willingness to be trained to complete UAS assessments. 8. Ability to work closely with contracted lab to receive critical lab values and contact physician appropriately. 9. Ability to work closely with pharmacy to accept deliveries and troubleshoot any issues. 10. Ability to supervise Licensed Nurses and Home Health Aide Staff. 11. Ability to assist administrator with quality assurance auditing. 12. Assist with staff yearly mandatory training. Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 1 - 3 years Bonus/Commission: No
