experienced Product Manager on our payments team to focus on
optimizing payment approval rates, launching and evaluating new
payment processors, and constantly experimenting to improve our
product. This is a great opportunity to join an experienced
payments team and immediately have an impact at a global scale.
This role will work across payment processing, new payment methods,
and recovery strategies. The ideal candidate will have experience
in payment processing using network tokens and PINless debit,
processor selection optimization, payment recovery strategies,
compliance with scheme rules, issuer engagement, and
more.Responsibilities
- Execute and maintain the payments roadmap by working
cross-functionally with members of the product team, engineering
team, business team, finance team, legal team, operations team,
marketing team and more
- Manage high levels of complexity by collaborating with business
leaders of adjacent domains like customer growth & acquisition,
identity, lifecycle messaging, billing, etc. to negotiate and
identify trade-offs that optimize business holistically
- Challenge the status quo and suggest new features that solve
tactical and strategic problems
- Investigate issues using a keen understanding of our data, our
payment stack, and the broader payments ecosystem.
- Translate new ideas and business needs into detailed product
requirements documents and user stories for engineering teams to
execute
- Maintain all necessary JIRA tasks, boards and detailed
documentation across teams, as well as all necessary communication
to internal stakeholders
- Become a trusted authority in the payments domain and provide
thought leadership across the businessBasic Qualifications
- 7+ years of product management experience, preferably working
on digital products at a global scale
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; and/or equivalent work
experience
- Skilled at identifying key issues/questions,
analyzing/visualizing data and then telling a compelling story to
senior business partners and key stakeholders to help influence
and/or determine important decisions
- Ability to rigorously prioritize while articulating your
product roadmap across business teams and geographies
- Demonstrated ability of collaborating with a diverse set of
partners and experience working in cross-functional teams
- Understanding of good UX and copy; You've worked with product
designers and copywriters to provide actionable & valuable
feedback
- Familiarity with the streaming video industry and understand
the different value propositions that all the market leaders offer
their customers
- Hold an understanding of statistics concepts (e.g., hypothesis
testing, regression analysis) and experience with a/b testing on a
large scale
- Exceptional communication skills - from small group discussions
to large-scale presentations, and through strong product memos that
help drive alignment across multiple teams#DISNEYTECH
The hiring range for this position in New York, NY and Seattle, WA
is $159,500 to $213,900 per year, in Los Angeles, CA is $152,200 to
$204,100 per year and in San Francisco, CA is $166,800 to $223,600
per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account
internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's
geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may
be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the
full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent
on the level and position offered.
