Director of Principal Gifts, The New York ClimateThe New York Climate Exchange is seeking a Director of Principal Gifts to cultivate, solicit, and steward donors capable of seven and eight-figure philanthropic gifts. The Director will play a key role in extending outreach in New York and beyond by engaging donors and traveling in partnership with senior leadership.Responsibilities:

• Cultivate, solicit, and steward donors for significant philanthropic gifts
• Collaborate with diverse partner organizations to advance fundraising efforts
• Engage in extensive travel to support philanthropic priorities
• Work closely with senior leadership to develop fundraising strategiesMinimum Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of development leadership experience
• Demonstrated success in securing seven, eight, and ideally nine-figure gifts
• Ability to effectively communicate organizational mission and vision
• Experience working in a highly team-based environment
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Bachelor's degreeThe annual salary for the role is anticipated to range from $175,000 to $225,000.
