Medical Affairs Lead for Aticaprant/Mood Disorders reports to the
Sr. Global Medical Affairs Lead Neuropsychiatry and is accountable
for strategic leadership and oversight of medical affairs strategy
for Aticaprant and mood disorder pipeline assets. Key
Responsibilities
- Key focus for this role will be the pre-launch and launch
activities for Aticaprant in the MDD with anhedonia
indication.
- Responsible for external engagement strategies for Aticaprant
and earlier MDD/mood disorders pipeline assets including product
and disease area global advisory boards, coordination of medical
symposia and congress activities, pre-approval access plans, KOL
and PAG engagement strategy, collaborative research groups and/or
pre-competitive consortia, and coordination with regional activity
in these areas.
- Accountable for development and execution of high-quality
medical affairs strategies that are cross-functionally aligned with
world-wide partners across the Therapeutic Area for key assets
- Collaborate closely with Global R&D, Market Access and
Commercial functions on regionally-aligned strategies for
differentiation and medical adoption of early, pre-launch, and
in-market assets including life-cycle management.
- Responsible for developing the Global Evidence Generation
strategies for specific assets.
- Accountable for design and conduct of Global Medical Affairs
PH3b or PhIV studies, including appropriate staffing and management
of budget.
- Actively contribute to the overall governance and strategy of
the Global Medical Affairs Neuroscience Therapeutic Area, including
programs, people and budget.
- Work with relevant Disease Area Leadership Teams (DALTs) and
Senior Leaders across functions to give medical input into and
shape global strategies for key assets in the Neuroscience
Therapeutic Area to bring value to patients with best-in-class
treatments.
- Provide technical and strategic expertise to ensure consistent
processes, excellence in planning and delivery of medical affairs
strategies for differentiation and medical adoption of all
assets.
- Set performance goals for team and monitor results, ensuring
timely performance reviews and performance feedback as needed.
- Accountable for recruiting, retaining, and developing top
Neuroscience talent.
- International travel required.
