Job Description:
Constellation, a leader in energy solutions across the U.S., is
seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Engineer specializing in
Nuclear Fuels BWR (Boiling Water Reactor) Cycle Management. This
position focuses on the design, analysis, and optimization of fuel
cycling in nuclear power plants, playing a pivotal role in ensuring
the economic and safe operation of our nuclear facilities. The
ideal candidate will apply advanced engineering principles to
develop nuclear fuel cycle strategies, maximize fuel efficiency,
and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Join our dynamic
team in driving innovation and sustainability in the nuclear energy
sector. Develop and implement nuclear fuel management strategies
for BWR systems. Perform core reload and cycle analysis using
simulation software. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on
fuel procurement and performance assessments. Monitor and analyze
reactor operations to recommend fuel cycle adjustments and
enhancements. Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety,
and environmental regulations. Prepare technical reports and
documentations for internal use and regulatory review. Participate
in industry conferences and workshops to stay updated with the
latest nuclear fuel technologies and standards. Strong analytical
and problem-solving skills. Proficient in nuclear fuel simulation
software (e.g., SIMULATE, PANEX). Excellent communication and
teamwork capabilities. Ability to manage projects and timelines
efficiently. Understanding of NRC regulations and nuclear safety
standards. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Certification in nuclear fuel management or a related field is
advantageous.
