Job Description:
Waste Connections is seeking a skilled Regional Maintenance
Specialist to join our dedicated team in the waste management
sector. In this vital role, you'll ensure the reliability and
operational efficiency of our equipment and assets across multiple
sites. Your expertise will contribute to the sustainable management
of waste services, positively impacting environmental protection
and community health. Oversee and coordinate maintenance activities
across various waste management facilities within the region.
Develop and implement maintenance strategies to improve equipment
reliability and efficiency. Conduct regular inspections and audits
of facilities to ensure compliance with company standards and
regulatory requirements. Collaborate with facility managers to
schedule preventive maintenance and manage repair work. Handle
budgeting for maintenance operations and capital expenditure
projects within the region. Troubleshoot complex mechanical,
electrical, and hydraulic systems. Direct and support maintenance
teams, providing training and guidance to enhance skills and ensure
safety protocols are followed. Analyze performance data and prepare
detailed reports on maintenance activities and their impact on
operations. Proficient in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic
systems Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent
leadership and team management abilities Proficiency in maintenance
management software and MS Office Effective communication and
