Job Description Job Description Summary Creating Kids at the
Connecticut Children's Museum is seeking a part-time SUBSTITUTE
ASSISTANT TEACHER to support our classrooms. If you love kids,
books, bugs and hugs, come work part-time or full-time(29-40
hours/week) with a team of amazing teachers in a small, innovative,
inclusive, and arts-rich child care center connected to a
children's museum. Duties Duties include but are not limited to the
following: Support children, families, and colleagues in their
development. Foster communication with parents and support their
involvement in the Center. Help develop and implement a creative,
inclusive, and cross-cultural curriculum based on the Theory of
Multiple Intelligences and the CT Early Learning and Development
Standards. Help create and maintain the physical environment.
Complete any written documentation in a timely manner. Participate
in center wide and staff-based activities. Honor the ideals and
principles of the NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct and Statement of
Commitment. Participate in supervision activities. Requirements
Candidates should love to color "outside the lines." A sense of
