Avis Budget Group is seeking a skilled Mobile Truck Mechanic to join our dynamic team, providing top-notch service and maintenance for our diverse fleet of rental vehicles, including trucks and large vehicles. As part of our commitment to innovation and excellence, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and readiness of our fleet, directly impacting customer satisfaction and our company's operational success. This position is ideal for those passionate about automotive repair and who thrive in fast-paced, mobile environments. Perform routine and emergency maintenance and repairs on all makes and models of trucks within the fleet. Diagnose mechanical issues and provide timely and accurate repairs. Manage on-road emergencies to reduce vehicle downtime and maintain customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles through our maintenance database. Uphold the highest standards of safety and cleanliness in every task. Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with fleet users. In-depth knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulic systems Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment Excellent problem-solving skills Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Medical Insurance Dental Insurance 401k ASE Certification in Heavy Truck Mechanics (T-Series) preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is a plus.
