Admissions Coordinator – Rydal Park, Jenkintown, a premier Life
Plan Community in Jenkintown, is hiring a full-time Admissions
Coordinator to join our Medical Center team! Rydal Park, a premier
Life Plan Community, is hiring a full-time Admissions Coordinator
to join our Skilled Nursing team. We are seeking a highly
motivated, seasoned admissions professional with experience
handling multiple high-level tasks in a Skilled Nursing
environment. Responsibilities: Provide clerical support for Health
Center admission policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with
company standards and governmental regulations. Manage referral
intake: respond promptly to incoming referrals, review admission
eligibility, confirm financial qualifications, obtain insurance
authorizations, and communicate admission decisions using the
“green, yellow, red” decision tree. Prepare admission packets and
related forms; coordinate admission check-ins, phone
communications, tours, and IDT updates; ensure room readiness and
welcome new residents. Enter new patient information in the EHR and
maintain accurate records. Adhere to HIPAA privacy rules and
company policies regarding resident-identifiable information.
Maintain knowledge of and assist with community resources. Attend
in-service trainings and staff meetings as required. Provide
courteous, professional service to residents, guests, and
co-workers. Promote and protect the rights of residents. Perform
other related duties as assigned. Requirements: Strong
communication, organizational, negotiation, and public relations
skills. Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Proficiency with PCs, including MS Office. Ability to work in a
high-volume, fast-paced environment with judgment, discretion, and
attention to detail. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
planned weekend coverage. Pay: $28/hour performance-based incentive
