Concern Housing, a non-profit agency in the real estate industry providing community and affordable housing, is seeking an Accountant to perform general accounting functions.

POSITION: Accountant
LOCATION: Medford, NY
HOURS: Monday-Friday; 9am-5pm

Duties and Responsibilities:

Record financial transactions through multiple sources including:

- accounts payable

- accounts receivable

- bank activity

- credit cards

- purchase order

Monthly rent roll reconciliation

Monthly bank reconciliations

Assist with month end close and yearly audit

Assist Representative Payee Specialist as needed

Special projects/ other duties as needed

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or experience in related field. Must have Real Estate industry experience and construction and development real estate a plus. Experience with NetSuite a plus. Individual must be highly detail-oriented and possess excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with all levels in the organization is a must.
